I am in love with Sunday Meal Prep. Even though I’m not there yet, I’m getting better and learning how to make wholesome, pleasant meals for myself.

When I prepare my meals on Sunday, I only purchase what is healthy on the weeks I am trying to achieve my nutritional goals. However, I do enjoy baking sweet treats! For instance, one of my favorite meal prep recipes is a quinoa salad with roasted vegetables and grilled chicken. It’s packed with nutrients and tastes delicious!

When you have a new home, it can be exciting to want to eat most of your meals at home instead of going out. I am finding out that maintaining a healthy lifestyle does not have to be difficult.

I enjoy lean proteins like chicken and turkey; I use ground turkey often. I made a ton of spring salad today, along with spinach, other veggies, cauliflower rice, sweet potatoes, and a ton of other delicious, colorful foods. I do like planning my meals out a few days in advance. There’s nothing more satisfying than pulling open my fridge and discovering a plethora of nutritious choices waiting for me, and it’s even more rewarding when I get to enjoy them with my loved ones.

Meal prepping is not just a task, it’s a joyful journey. I mostly prepare breakfast and lunch, leaving the joy of cooking a fresh dinner for the evening.

The taste is unparalleled when you cook the food fresh. With all the ingredients ready in advance, it’s a breeze. Dinner usually consists of a plate full of vibrant vegetables and protein, while I reserve the carbs for breakfast and lunch.

Ways to Creating A Beautiful Environment With Your Food At Home

My kitchen is a canvas of white plates, but I’m considering adding some color to it. The market fills our space with beautiful, vibrant dishes that infuse it with energy and joy. Currently, I bring color into my kitchen with Oranges, Green Apples, Limes, and Lemons. These fruits not only add a pop of color but also bring a wave of positive energy into our home.

In Feng Shui, they give great attention to colors, symbolism, and the number of fruits. For instance, oranges and lemons are thought to bring prosperity and luck because of their bright hue and connection with the sun.

I will write a blog post soon on each fruit and what it represents, then come back and link it here for you to read. To bring good fortune and luck into your home, you should have nine oranges or lemons in your kitchen or living room. Let’s decorate with fresh fruits and let our homes embody good energy.
