RITUALS FOR MANIFESTATION AT THE NEW AND FULL MOONS
One of my favorite techniques to manifest is to use the New Moon and Full Moon at the same time. It’s all about new beginnings and asking for what you want during the New Moon. The Full Moon is all about completeness – cleansing, releasing, and letting go of what doesn’t serve you anymore. These opposites can be used in rituals and ceremonies. Simply ask for anything to appear during a New Moon and then let go of your wishes, clearing the way for whatever you desire to manifest during the Full Moon.

A NOTE ABOUT INTENTION
Use your spiritual tools for the welfare of others and yourself, just as you would with any other ceremonial practice. It is our job to ensure that no one’s gift of free choice is harmed. You may manifest blessings and appreciation, activate high vibrating energy, call on angels, and welcome healing energy and inspiration into your life and the lives of people around you with this guide.
- HOW TO MAKE YOUR RITUAL SPACE CLEAN
You can perform your ritual work both inside and outside. Simply begin by preparing your space. I believe that any ceremonial practice should begin with a good space or house cleansing. This exercise clears your space of any negative energy and makes room for whatever you’re inviting in. Everything you do to prepare your place should be done to manifest what you want.
It’s important to note that cleansing for a New Moon differs from cleansing for a Full Moon. Although you should cleanse every room with both moons, there is one major difference:
- New Moon: Cleanse the front door or the door that you use the most for the New Moon. Do this to welcome in fresh beginnings and the manifestation of your desires.
- Full Moon: Do the polar opposite during the Full Moon. Cleanse the back door to complete the task and let go of everything that is preventing you from manifesting.
SPIRITUAL TOOLS
Smudge sticks, such as sage, Reiki symbols, visualizations and thoughts, herbs, ritual candles and flame, crystals (for lightworkers), charged water, salt, and a variety of other spiritual tools can all be used to cleanse.
2. HOW TO HAVE A DETOX BATH
Taking a cleansing bath before a new moon ritual or after a full moon ritual has numerous advantages. Here are some pointers to help you get started and figure out what you’ll need:
- A handful or two of salt (not table salt) is advised; sea salt or even Epsom salt can be used. Place it in a bathtub filled with warm water.
- Add some lavender salts or drops to the mix.
- Scented candles or incense can be used to create a relaxing atmosphere.
- If you like, you can listen to music or go completely silent.
- Fill up the blanks with whatever it is that relaxes and centers you. Concentrate on your breathing.
- Spend some time meditating, focusing on your thoughts, invoking the goddess or spirit, and connecting with the divine.
BEFORE THE NEW MOON
Take a cleansing bath an hour before doing your ritual to relax and rid your mind of restricting thoughts. It will allow you to see new beginnings and the things you are manifesting.
FOLLOWING A FULL MOON
After you’ve completed your ritual, take a cleansing bath to release what you’ve just asked of the Universe. This technique will rid you of energetic blocks, negative energy, and everything that doesn’t benefit you anymore. Imagine that everything that is no longer useful is going down the drain as you let the water out; consider doing this in conjunction with a release prayer.
3. HOW TO MAKE A LIST OF YOUR INTENTIONS
Before you begin your moon n ritual, I recommend that you have a notepad or piece of paper and a pen on hand to establish your intention(s)/affirmation(s). When you’re ready, go through the instructions below.
SET AN INTENTION
Consider what you wish to manifest or release a few days before the new moon cycle begins. You can absolutely work on multiple things at once, but I believe it is ideal to focus on just one.
BELIEVE IN WHAT YOU’RE ASKING FOR OR WHAT YOU’RE TRYING TO ACHIEVE
You must have faith in your intentions – what you’re releasing or demanding. Do you believe you are deserving of it? Do you think you can achieve it? If you don’t believe what you’re attempting to create is possible, it won’t be.
MAKE USE OF VISUALIZATIONS
Write down what you actually want to manifest once you’ve figured it out. Make up an entire tale around it: what would it be like to have what you’re manifesting? Make an effort to devote some time to this. Have fun with it and use your creativity. This action will assist you in visualizing and bringing your intentions to light.
JOURNAL
For your New Moon intentions, keep a separate notepad or notebook. You’ll revisit your intention every day until the Full Moon, reliving or even adding to the story you’ve constructed. Writing your objectives on seed paper is a powerful and cool thing to do during your growing season. Seed paper is available for a variety of flower varieties. Then, at the Full Moon, plant it and watch your intentions blossom.
4. WHAT IS A NEW MOON RITUAL AND HOW DO I DO IT?
Show the Universe that you’re willing to help by executing this ceremony. We have a responsibility to assist in the beginning of the wheels turning, and you will get out of it what you put into it, which includes your thoughts and dialogue. Let’s get started.
SUPPLIES
- a diary (or a piece of paper) with a pen
- Prayer for the New Moon
- Candle
- Incense
INSTRUCTIONS
You may begin your ritual after acquiring the tools indicated above and completing the basic tasks outlined previously.
- Read out loud your intention(s): Light your candle and incense, then speak your intention(s) to the Universe aloud. End each statement with “this or more” for each goal you speak. Request the New Moon’s guidance in bringing what you want into your life.
- Say a New Moon prayer or chant: Say a New Moon prayer or chant. You can choose from a variety of formal prayers. I prefer to write my own since writing your own prayer generates powerful, positive energy. Always end on a positive note of thanks and gratitude.
- Use visualizations: After you’ve completed praying or chanting, sit quietly for a few minutes and imagine the New Moon working in your favor. Visualize your intentions being sent up to the New Moon as the smoke from the incense rises into the sky. Blow out the candle and let the incense burn out completely when you’re finished.
- Reread your intentions: Keep your intention tale somewhere you’ll see it first thing in the morning, such as on your nightstand or under your pillow. Every day, read your story and feel your desire come to fruition.
- Take action: Every goal necessitates action. Sitting at home every night is not sending the correct message to the Universe if you want to attract new love into your life. If you’re looking for a new job but never send out your résumé, then all of your New Moon efforts will be for naught.
- Keep your ideas positive: Pay attention to your intentions and keep them positive. For the next few weeks leading up to the Full Moon, avoid negative conversation. To allow wonderful things to come to you, surround yourself with positive energy.
WHAT IMPACT DOES THE NEW MOON HAVE ON US?
At this time, connect with the cosmic energy of the Universe and benefit from the benefits of a cleansing ritual. It’s only natural that manifesting during a New Moon would have a significant effect. The enthusiasm for new beginnings and inventiveness pervades this time. It’s a gift from the Universe to assist us in attracting new chances.
WHAT IS A FULL MOON RITUAL AND HOW DO I DO IT?
This is a Full Moon ritual that should be performed outside. Cleanse your workspace with a sage stick, sandalwood incense, or a spiritual tool of your choice before you begin.
SUPPLIES
- A safe burning vessel
- lighters or matches
- A candle
- Your intention story
- A piece of paper and a pen
INSTRUCTIONS
You may begin your ritual after acquiring the tools indicated above and completing the basic tasks outlined previously.
- Declare your intention aloud: Read your intention to the Full Moon aloud, concluding with “and thus it is done.” Read it with complete confidence that it is on its way to you. Believe that the wheels are turning in your favor and for the sake of your goal.
- Say a Full Moon prayer: Say a ritual prayer or one you’ve written just for this purpose. Include a message of thanksgiving and gratitude for the Universe’s help.
- Light your intention on fire: Put your written purpose in your burn vessel after lighting it on fire (please be careful). Visualize your intentions coming to fruition as you watch the smoke rise into the sky. (Write your purpose on a separate piece of paper that you can burn if you wish to journal your tale so you can think on it later.)
WHAT IMPACT DOES THE FULL MOON HAVE ON US?
The Full Moon marks the end of a cycle, allowing us to release and let go of energy. It gives us the gift of letting go of what no longer serves us and completing our intentions so that we can move on to new things. During the Full Moon, releasing and letting go will give you a liberating energy. It’s such a comfort to transmit your purpose to the Universe fully formed and free of any obstacles. It’s critical that you feel your desire is being carried out and that the Universe is acting in your favor.
These are merely ideas; I recommend going up with your own. I believe that adding something personal to your rituals makes them more powerful. If adding or skipping something makes you feel more confident, go with your gut instinct. It’s all about energy vibrations when it comes to manifesting work in any form. The more at ease you are while performing this task, the more beneficial it will be to you. The way you feel when performing a ritual is a good indicator of how well it will work.
You can also cast magical spells during the waning and waxing moons; the option is yours. If ritual dancing, ritual tarot, energy work of the hands, the use of symbolically sacred spiritual tools, candle ritual, and other forms of manifestation inspire you, hone your manifesting skills and go for it. LISTEN TO YOUR INSTINCTS.
May all of your intentions come to fruition for the greater benefit.
